  Brief Description
 

IRCSx2 is a backdoor type Trojan that is downloaded from a web page. Once it has been installed, it allows the computer to be controlled remotely through an IRC channel.

There are different versions of IRC.Sx2 and some of them are programmed to carry out DoS attacks.

IRC.Sx2 reaches computers as a file called MSDOS.EXE. When this file is run, it connects to the following web page http://www.sx2group.com/, and downloads the file that carries out the infection.
