  Brief Description
 

Y2K is a macro virus that infects Word 97 documents (files with DOC extension) and the NORMAL.DOT template and Excel 97 spreadsheets (files with XLS extension).

Y2K activates on October 27, 2000 and on days after January 1, 2000 chosen at random by the virus.

  Visible Symptoms
 

When the system date is October 27 2000 or other dates chosen at random by Y2K, the words I love U will be appear 51 times at the beginning of the document.

The size of the letters of the message I love U will increase line after line.

Another visible symptom that indicates that Y2K has infected a computer is that a window with special symbols and the address of a web page will be displayed when a macro called actNo() activates:
