AntiEXE is a boot virus that infects the boot sector of floppy disks and of hard disks. In addition, it infects EXE files over 200,256 Bytes in length, and prevents users from running them. AntiEXE infects the hard disk of a computer when it is booted from a floppy disk that is infected with this virus. From then on, all of the floppy disks used on that computer will be infected and it will have problems starting up. | [

The main visible symptom is that infected computers have problems starting. In addition, it will not be possible to run EXE files over 200,256 Bytes in length. On Windows 95 computers, a window will be displayed with a message alerting users to the possible alteration of INT 13h interrupt. |
