  Brief Description
 

Trj.Reboot is a Trojan that restarts the computer after carrying out its infection. However, is does not carry out any destructive effects.

Trj.Reboot uses the libraries of Visual Basic.5 to carry out its actions and if these libraries are not installed, this virus will not carry out its actions. In addition, Trj.Reboot does not work in computers that have the operating systems  Windows NT or Windows 2000 installed.

An indication that Trj.Reboot has infected a computer is that it restarts for no apparent reason.

In addition, Trj.Reboot does not carry out its actions in computers with the operating systems Windows NT or Windows 2000 installed. If it tries to infect computers running these operating systems, Trj.Reboot displays the following message on screen:
