  Brief Description
 

Stator is a worm that only affects computers with the e-mail client TheBat! installed. In addition, Stator affects files with an EXE extension through the companion method.

Stator sends out confidential data on the affected computer via e-mail: passwords, usernames, system information, etc.

Stator reaches computers in an e-mail message with a variable subject and the attached file PHOTO.JPG.PIF.
