Intel and AOL is not a virus; it is a hoax or an e-mail message designed to trick the recipients into believing that they can earn an extra income by forwarding e-mail messages containing information about a new e-mail service, which is being tested.

This information is completely false and it just aims at overwhelming e-mail servers. In order to avoid problems, disregard this information, as it is completely false. You should also immediately delete the message, without forwarding to anyone.

  Visible Symptoms
 

Intel and AOL arrives in an apparently normal e-mail message, but which can be identified:

  • By its subject, which may contain texts such as   PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE READ!- Hi, Lets try this just for the fun of it or Real Money. All of these texts attempt to arouse the users’ curiosity by referring to the possibility of earning money.
  • By its content, which refers to a supposed new e-mail service that would enable users to earn an extra income by forwarding e-mail messages.
