Make regular back-ups

If you make regular back-up copies of your information, you'll be able to restore your system in the event of virus or hacker attacks and improve your chances of saving valuable data.

  What should I back up?

Planning a back-up policy first involves prioritizing information in terms of importance and then deciding on how often copies should be made.

When you have decided how and when to store the data, it should then be protected in a safe, fireproof environment.

Keep boot disks and emergency disks for all systems together with the back-up copies. This will ensure that you can start up computers even in the event of unpredictable problems.
