  This test will verify if your antivirus is capable of detecting viruses embedded in a web page.

How does it work?

 

Once you click on "Test now" an attempt to insert the EICAR file automatically into your PC will begin.

Even though this file is harmless, your antivirus should detect it immediately as if it were detecting a virus and stop it from entering your PC.

This test is only valid for Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or later.
